Do You Think Bush Finally Gets It?

What do you think? Real tears or is Karl Rove sticking him with a remote controlled pin?

Tears run from the eyes of U.S. President George W. Bush during a ceremony in honor of Medal of Honor winner Marine Cpl. Jason Dunham in the East room of the White House in Washington, January 11, 2007. Cpl. Dunham was killed when he jumped on a grenade to save fellow members of his Marine patrol while serving in Iraq. I think he was sitting there realizing how he's ruined his family's name, the world, his country. He's crying for himself.

Honest to God, because he was raised by reptiles who forbade emotional displays, I believe that a gnat flew into his eye. My cynicism is based on the last six years as he used troops as props and ignored their plight upon returning to the US.Traci has a better heart than I, and is far more willing to give people (even reptiles like bush)the benefit of the doubt.I am just too numb to think this guy is capable of any cogent emotion.

So nice to hear from you, Michael! Just so you know, the door is open should you like to pay us a return visit to Equal Time.

I must admit, I do find it hard to believe that George has much concern for anyone other than himself. Alas, it is the rest of us who pay for it.

Frank, I never thought of it before, but you may be onto something when you refer to the reptilian family that Bush hails from. Could that be why he has no concern for global warming?
